How can we help you with your spousal green card needs?
In general, when you retain us to help in your adjustment of status or consular processing cases for either immigration cases or nonimmigrant K-1 Fiance cases, we have an initial meeting with you to get an understanding of your particular circumstances and to answer your questions. We explain the process and forms. We will prepare the USCIS forms and assist you in obtaining the documents necessary for the initial filing. We will meet with you to review and sign the final forms. We will prepare the filing packet and file the adjustment packet with the appropriate USCIS lockbox or Service Center. We will forward the fee receipts and fingerprint notices.
For adjustment of status cases in particular, we will also meet with you to prepare for your adjustment interview. We will provide you with a listing of documents you will need for the interview and will review them with you. We can attend the USCIS interview with you and represent you at the interview. We will provide information on travel restrictions, removing the condition for Conditional Green Cards, and maintaining records for the purpose of filing form I-751 and for naturalization.
For consular processing cases for either immigration cases or non-immigrant K-1 fiance cases, we will also forward the I-130 or I-129F approval. We will assist in the payment of fees, filing the DS-260 Immigrant Visa Application or DS-160 Nonimmigrant Visa Application, and civil documents with the National Visa Center (NVC). We will prepare and file the Affidavit of Support with NVC. We will forward the notice of consular interview and provide information on preparation for the interview and in obtaining the consular medical exam. We will provide information on payment of the USCIS immigrant fee. We will provide information on travel restrictions, removing the condition for Conditional Green Cards or Adjustment of Status on K-1 Fiance cases and on maintaining records for the purpose of filing form I-751 and for naturalization.
